Concept Overview Anhad Naad , Damru draws inspiration from the sacred city of Varanasi and its deeply embedded spiritual and sonic vibrations. The Damru , a small two-headed drum associated with Lord Shiva, is believed to emit the primordial cosmic sound – Anhad Naad – the unstruck , infinite vibration that marks the beginning of creation. This proposal seeks to explore the metaphysical and cultural symbolism of the Damru through a site-responsive installation that connects the viewer with sound, space, and silence. Curatorial Vision This project aims to merge the mystical energies of Indian spirituality with contemporary, site- based artistic practices. The installation will reinterpret ancient symbols (such as the Damru ) and sonic elements (chants, temple bells, the Ganges river) using modern materials and immersive techniques.

Light Through Decay
This captivating photograph captures the enchanting beauty of an abandoned building, where time has etched its presence on every wall. Cracked, crumbling surfaces and crumbling plaster serve as reminders of forgotten days, while nature attempts to reclaim the place from above. A symbol of purity, hope, and renewal amidst decay. The contrast between rough, worn walls and soft, flowing fabric creates a serene dialogue between ruin and resilience. The light filtering in from above adds a transcendental touch, suggesting rebirth within the ruins. Every texture—from the faded paint to the moss-covered edges—tells a story of endurance. The photograph invites the viewer to contemplate mortality, change, and the silent beauty that persists even in places left behind by time.
