As part of an ongoing artistic exchange, Jesse Malmed (of Western Pole, Trunk Show, etc.) opens his new studio window in a new town to an old pal for *Patti Smith for the Beesly Manifesto*, the opening show of Window, Addressing.
Part of an ongoing series gathering the wisdom of Pam Beesly (best known from her time in the American Situational Comedy, The Office, a canonical work that blurred and bent conceptions of the interfaces and messy underlaps of non/fiction, affect theory and post-alienated labor), this work works with the closed and opened caption, of who’s doing what for who, and, finally, for whom that bell is tolling.
