Bhavani GS has been fascinated with art from Childhood.
Being born and brought up in the mountain ranges of Kodagu, Karnataka & in the midst of Coffee plantation her inspiration is deep with in her roots. Painting being her primary expression she started doing land art on the forest floor of Kodagu with the available material and matter found on there depending on the season. My walks or hikes are often the genesis for a site specific work, painting, drawing and short videos, Installations.
On going work – Project on River Cauvery is an ongoing exploration of the River, its Tributaries, River banks and its Embedded Water.
