Fate of Monarch
1700 W Algonquin Road, Lake in the Hills, IL, 60156
This piece “Fate of Monarch” is inspired by the Monarch butterflies. This piece is all about Monarch butterflies which are going extinct due to climate changes and habitat loss. With this installation, I want to show the beauty of Monarch butterflies and create awareness about “how we can save this endangered species”. For this installation I have used soda cans (recycle material) and Aluminium sheets to create butterflies, paint them with acrylic colors. The butterflies will be attached on colorful Nylon ropes. This piece is also gives the impression of flying Monarch in the garden, which makes this composition very meditative.
