Responding to the visual language of cities—edits to architecture, palimpsest walls, overdue advertisements, and abstracted text—this series of four structures honors the deep connection between human beings and the built environment.

Each print embodies an architectural façade; the layered marks mimic the aesthetic of city walls where images are stratified by artists and passerby. The standing wooden frame refers to abandoned outdoor structures originally intended for commercial use. Here they are, advertising nothing, merely reflecting, responding, and nodding to what might have lain before or what currently lies nearby.
