Our public artwork delves into the pervasive influence of power and position across societal classes. Growing up in a middle-class family, we've witnessed this impact, whether positive or negative, resulting in arrogance among those in positions of authority. This theme transcends sectors, manifesting as class divisions, conflicts, and power dynamics in schools, offices, homes, and relationships. We symbolize this by molding a mound of soil into irregular chair platforms, showcasing diverse chairs – from comfortable to uncomfortable – stacked according to comfort. Some chairs bear termite-infested sections, emphasizing that any position can ultimately return to the earth.
